Two colours blended across the pattern. Keep both dark.
Above 0.15 the pattern thins out and gets harder to scan in print.
PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, up to 2 MB. Error correction is raised automatically so the code still scans.
A short instruction measurably increases the number of people who scan.
Higher error correction survives more damage but makes the pattern denser.
The standard is 4. Less than that and scanners struggle to find the code against busy artwork.

Worth knowing
- Every field you add makes the code denser. Name, one phone number, one email and a company is a good balance; a full postal address plus three numbers gets busy fast.
- Both iOS and Android read vCard codes with the built-in camera, no app required.
- Print it on the back of a card at 20 mm or larger — the preview warns you if the content is too long for the size.
